Physical Damage Waiver is a waiver, by Thrifty, of all financial responsibility for loss, theft or damage to the car over and above an excess of CAD$300.00.

Minimum Driver age is 21 years.
Drivers aged 21 - 24 years of age will incur a supplemental charge of CAD$15.00 per day. This is paid locally.

Please Note: There is a CAD$500.00 insurance excess for drivers aged from 21 - 24 years. This is due to the increased risk of a younger driver.

Other insurance may be offered to our customers by Thrifty Rent a Car counter staff, but these are optional and not usually required or necessary. This is because coverage is usually provided by the passengers' travel insurance.

Additional Drivers = CAD$6.00 each per day.
Please Note! - There is no charge for a spouse as an additional driver.

Child Seat Rental (on Request) = CAD$5.00 per day.
Infant Seat Rental (on Request) = CAD$5.00 per day.

One-way rentals are not permitted on Economy, Luxury or 4x4 Sports Utility vehicles. Charges are based on the distance between two depots and are charged as follows.

A valid credit card only will be accepted as security in order to collect a hire vehicle. Cash or Charge card deposits will not be accepted.

A charge of £25.00GBP may apply in the event of any amendment or cancellation of any confirmed reservation.
